don’t ever reply/respond to spam, you are just confirming that your email is a valid address. Your e-mail will be added to lists that they sell/trade with each other.
you will just end up getting more and more spam.

Also, don’t call back those weird numbers that call and hang up for the same reason.

You could always try writing back “This is Google Account services, this account has been shut down. Please forward all mail to [address of person you feel like annoying].”
I mean, if phishers think it’ll work there should be at least one scammer who would fall for it.

You should address him as Dr.
Fin Fang Foom
. Just to be extra juvenile.

Only one thing to do. Get a new email address and let the games begin.

I’m assuming he emailed you because you are well versed in international finance and run one of the world’s largest banks, right?

A Belgian comedy collective had some fun trying to keep as many scammers busy as possible around 2011. They even met up with a couple of them, dressed as robots to hand over money, and had a final meeting involving an amputee, a couple of people with dwarfism, a pony and a counter-scam.
You can watch it on Youtube , but it’ll probably be hard to understand if you don’t know Dutch.
